Traditional composite fiberglass fire helmet with a perfect balance of durability and performance.

Low profile and superior balance in a classic design. Cairns fire helmets have some of the lowest ride-heights in the market. Compare the crown clearance of the popular Cairns 1010 model, with its advanced thermal impact cap, to other traditional helmets. Love the 1010!

From my Probationary helmet to my Lieutenant's helmet, I have stuck with the 1010. Very comfortable for me and never had any issues with it.

I have had it protect from many things such as boots of fellow firefighters when butting ladders, as well as hitting my head on the back of our tower when returning from a call. It is for the most part quite comfortable, however it can be a little bit uncomfortable if you dont fit it right once you get a face piece
