I feel this product was falsely advertised since the label in the boot says ""Made in China""

I use these boots for wild land firefighting, they are very rugged and sturdy. Although, they take a long time to break in for use and they are too skinny around the calf.

Job Titles: Oiler, Rigger, Operate heavy equipment, Flagman, and Signalman. Jobsite-mud, rocks, dirt, concrete, rebar, wood mats for crane, medal stairwells, climbing safety & personnel ladders w/cage. I do crane maintenance-climbing all over the crane, walking through oil, grease and other lubricants on deck of crane, under, & in the units. Overall love your boots! Have already decided on the Thorogood upgrade next time. Love your brand & personal touch (boot made and shipped from manufacturer). I lace it once to fit my foot, second time is after the break-in period and from then on out zip them only.

My firefighter was able to find these boots from a different supplier $85.00 less expensive and with free shipping. She LOVES them and recommends them.

My favorite part of these boots are how easy they are to get on and off. You can pretty much jump right in them and zip them up, and they give good ankle support. A little stiff at first but should be good after you break them in a bit. Comfortable enough to wear all day. The upper tongue area behind the zipper is a little stiff and could be irritating against your shin if your socks weren't long enough , so make sure you wear them with some thick, long socks. But other than that small con, i like them.

This is a great all around safety boot. The composite toe area has plenty of room for an extra or very thick pair of socks. The only con is the flexibility, however, they are not broken in yet. I like the idea of a boot that can be used for any situation.

I use the boots to train and work in the station and I love my boots!
