Details
Lightweight, durable, and versatile, Little Giant’s Defender™ Ladder provides firefighters with unmatched speed, safety, and stability during any operation.
Made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, the Defender Ladder is lighter than any comparable industrial-rated ladder and features wide-flared legs for enhanced safety and stability. Rated to hold 300 pounds on both sides, the Defender can be used as a true two-person stepladder.
Dual Ratchet Levelers allow firefighters to adjust the level of the ladder by up to 8.5” to provide an even, level setup over an uneven surface or debris. Quad-Lock™ hinges and Rock Locks can be quickly and easily adjusted even when wearing heavy gear to ensure a secure setup.
Hi-viz reflective labels and Safety Insight™ photo-luminescent strips help illuminate rung locations in low-light conditions. When retracted, the ladder can fit inside existing storage spaces in most fire engines. Heavy duty casters allow for quick and easy transportation.
NFPA compliant, the Little Giant Defender Ladder can be used in dozens of unique configurations as an A-frame, extension, staircase, or 90-degree ladder, as well as a trestle-and-plank scaffolding system.
