A convenient, cost-effective, and sanitary solution for training.
A dramatic new training aid designed to demonstrate and simulate the intraosseous infusion procedure. Students will be able to learn and practice, with incredible accuracy and realism, a procedure which has been difficult to simulate in the past.Prior to the Intraosseous Infusion Simulator, educators resorted to unsanitary chicken and turkey bones as teaching aids.
- Realistically teaches a procedure which has been difficult to simulate—until now
- Replacement bones and skins extend the life of the simulator indefinitely
- Four sided “bones” can be punctured several times…on each side
- Three palpable landmarks—patella, tibia, and tibial tuberosity—located in each leg.
- Simulator makes aspiration possible in both legs.
This simulator is also very cost-effective, with inexpensive multi-use replacement “bones” and skins able to extend the life of the simulator indefinitely. Use a 15-gauge needle during simulation. The simulated bones used in the model are designed with four sides; each side may be punctured several times.
In addition, three palpable landmarks (patella, tibia, and tibial tuberosity) are located in each leg. And both legs are designed to make aspiration possible. The Life/form® Intraosseous Infusion Simulator represents a six-month-old infant.
