Why mess with a good thing?

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jan 30th 2017

My previous review on this page is for the older model of this glove. When those finally ripped in the fingertip after about 5 years, I bought another pair because they were so great, only they completely changed the whole design of the glove. Same model, new look and feel and I don't like it. These are bulkier, looser fitting, and the parts that are supposed to grip don't grip. Using the hydraulic tools is a challenge because they slip when I turn the handle to operate them. They're looser than the previous model in every way. The old ones used to fit like skin with no excess material anywhere but the new ones have excess material in just about every part of the glove. Very unhappy with Ringers for getting rid of the old model. You want to make a new model, then make a new model but don't replace an existing one if it works.

    Best so far.

These are the best extrication gloves I've owned so far. Durable, lightweight, breathable, affordable, perfect fit, dexterous, & no inner liner to pull out when you take them off.

    Love these gloves

I have been using these gloves for years. I purchase them for my own use...for auto/motorcycle repair, setting up my RV, making biodiesel, pumping gas/diesel, spraying weed-kill, or bug spray, etc... I keep boxes stored in my RV, my pickup, and my garage so they are readily available.

    Toiugh gloves

CONSTRUCTION: These gloves are extremely well built. The reinforced fingers and palm are extremely tough and have stood up to some pretty harsh conditions thus far. I've worm them in countless trainings and many actual extrications, they're stowed in the front pocket of my turnout coat where they're subjected to smoke, heat, water, and rough movement and they don't have so much as a torn thread. The padded knuckles are a comfortable and don't hinder my movement. DEXTERITY: I could probably fit into a medium but I bought small because I wanted to minimize fabric. The other reason I bought small was because there is no excess fabric at the fingertips and they go all they go all the way down to the webbing of my fingers. They don't stop short like many other gloves. They feel like they were custom tailored ot my hands. This paired with the snug fit of a small makes it effortless to use tools on a scene. I feel like I'm not wearing any gloves at all sometimes. OVERALL: These have been put through the ringer and have come out unscathed. That kind of performance at that price? You can't find that kind of value anymore. That passes my test. I won't buy any other pair of extrication gloves but these

Wonderful glove, great dexterity. It runs a little small so buy one size bigger than you need and you will be fine
