Machined from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum, the CSR2 (Confined Space Rescue) Pulley features a high-strength aluminum side plate, sealed bearings, and anodized aluminum sheaves. The pulley can accommodate 7/16” (11 mm) to 1/2” (13 mm) lifelines; a removable becket cover makes it easy to change out lifelines with sewn terminations if needed. The side becket allows for maximum lift height and full retraction of the system. Designed to readily accommodate a rescue-size carabiner, the integral thrust-bearing swivel aligns the pulley with the load in order to reduce torque and increase efficiency and safety. CMC’s patented locking system enables the pulley to be easily and safely released while under load. Highly durable, the single pulley has a maximum breaking strength of 46 kN, while the double pulley has a breaking strength of 51 kN. UL classified and NFPA 1983 (2012 ED) certified for general use, the CSR2 Pulley is excellent for industrial applications and rescue operations.
