Designed with a compression-molded fiberglass shell and thermoset resin construction, this helmet provides excellent flame resistance, thermal protection, and long-term structural durability.

Built for firefighters who demand secure fit and balanced performance, the 911 Modern Helmet features a ratchet suspension system and adjustable headband designed to integrate comfortably with SCBA facepieces. Its flared rear-brim design improves runoff protection while maintaining a streamlined, modern profile that supports mobility and balance during interior and exterior operations.

Comfort and Fit Systems

• Ratchet sizing system mounted to a heat-resistant nylon headband
• Rear height adjustment system provides at least 1" of travel for proper helmet positioning
• Three-point nylon web suspension system connected to the impact liner for stability
• Foam crown pad for added comfort and load distribution
• Removable foam forehead sweatband for moisture control
• Leather sweatband and nape for long-term comfort and durability

Retention and Protection Components

• Two-piece ¾" Nomex® chinstrap with one-hand quick-release thermoplastic buckle and Postman’s slide
• Maximum extended chinstrap length of at least 24" for adjustable retention
• Black Nomex® ear/neck cover lined with FR cotton for extended protection
• Ear/neck cover attaches with hook and loop system for easy removal and replacement

Helmet Shell Construction

• Composite fiberglass shell with thermoset resin construction
