An excellent balance of all-temperature strength, abrasion resistance, and handling. Search lines have emerged as an important tool for fire and rescue operations of all sorts. Sterling utilizes aramid fibers, such as Technora, in unique constructions to achieve the optimum handling, heat resistance, and strength required for these critical operations—or even firefighter or self-rescue if necessary. All Sterling ropes are designed with a tougher sheath and better elongation in the core to absorb impact forces or maintain continuity under extreme heat. And they’re thoroughly tested to assure performance. It's no wonder Sterling ropes are preferred by top fire and safety instructors—not only in New York City, but around the globe.
